Nice, a city of Mediterranean sunshine and romance

#July Travel Support Fund Nice was a place full of the leisurely atmosphere unique to southern France. As soon as I arrived, the blue Mediterranean Sea, warm sunlight, and the scenery created by the red-roofed buildings looked like a painting at first glance. As I walked along the coastal Promenade des Anglais and felt the soft breeze and the sound of the waves, time seemed to pass slowly. Just sitting on a white chair and looking at the cobalt blue sea was a happy moment. The alleys of the Old Town (Vinice) showed another charm of Nice. The narrow alleys lined with yellow and orange buildings were filled with small cafes and shops, and the Cours Saleya market was filled with the scent of fresh fruits, flowers, and herbs, allowing me to experience the daily lives of the locals. When I climbed up to the Colline du Château observation deck on the hill, I could see the Nice beach, the old town, and the endless Mediterranean Sea at a glance. The sky and sea turning red at sunset were truly romantic scenery. Finally, we finished the day with a seafood platter and rose wine at a seaside restaurant.
