Nice, a city with Mediterranean sunshine and wind

#July Travel Support Fund Nice was a city that contained the leisure and romance of southern France. As soon as I got off the airport, the blue Mediterranean Sea, warm sunlight, and the scenery of red roofs made my heart flutter from the beginning of the trip. As I walked along the Promenade des Anglais and looked out at the sea, the sound of the waves and the soft breeze calmed my heart. Just sitting on a beach chair and looking out at the cobalt blue sea for a long time was enough happiness. The alleys of the Old Town (Vinice) were another charm of Nice. Yellow and orange-colored buildings lined the narrow alleys, and small cafes and shops were cutely placed. At the Cours Saleya Market, the scent of flowers, herbs, and fresh fruits filled the air, allowing me to feel the vivid daily life of the locals. When I climbed up to the Colline du Château observation deck on the hill, I could see the Nice coast, the old town, and the Mediterranean Sea stretching out in the distance at a glance. The sky and sea turning red at sunset were truly romantic, like a scene from a movie. Finally, we finished the day with a seafood platter and rose wine at a seaside restaurant.
