#July Travel Support Fund Nice was a city where you could feel the romance and warmth of southern France. The scenery of the blue Mediterranean Sea and red rooftops spread out before your eyes made your heart flutter from the moment you arrived. First, I walked along the Promenade des Anglais. The gentle wind and the sound of waves accompanied the promenade along the coast, and just sitting on a white chair and looking at the cobalt blue sea made the fatigue of the trip disappear. In the alleys of the Old Town (Vinice), I could see another charm of Nice. Yellow and orange-colored buildings lined the narrow alleys, and small cafes and shops were tucked away. In particular, the Cours Saleya Market was filled with the scent of fresh fruits, flowers, and herbs, allowing me to feel the daily lives of the locals up close. When I climbed up to the Colline du Château observation deck on the hill, I could see the Nice beach, the old town, and the endless Mediterranean Sea at a glance. The red sky and sea at sunset were truly romantic, like a scene from a movie. Finally, we finished the day by enjoying a fresh seafood platter and rose wine at a seaside restaurant.
