During our stay at I Hotel Baloi, we headed down for breakfast not expecting much—but we were pleasantly surprised by the variety offered. While nothing was over-the-top or gourmet, the buffet had a decent assortment of local and international options that covered the basics well. There were staples like fried noodles, fried rice, porridge with condiments, toast with butter and jam, sausages, and eggs. There was also a small selection of pastries, fresh fruits, and juices. Coffee and tea were available self-service style. Everything we tried tasted fresh, and items were refilled promptly. The dining area was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making for a pleasant, relaxed meal to start the day. Though the breakfast wasn’t luxurious, it definitely served its purpose—simple, warm food that fills the belly before a day of exploring Batam or shopping nearby. Overall, it’s a solid and satisfying breakfast experience for a hotel in this price range.
