Fengning Bashang Grassland: Must-Visit Spots You Can't Miss!

The attractions in Fengning Bashang are quite concentrated, with most of them being just 10-30 minutes away from the manor. Spending 2-3 days here is perfect for unwinding and exploring everything! Many beautiful grasslands aren't official attractions—they might just be a random spot by the roadside that you can walk into, and it's stunning. Most places are free of charge! There are no villagers or animals to disturb you. Just remember to protect the environment and avoid stepping on the grass! Here are a few personally tested spots that I found incredibly relaxing: 1⃣️ Daliu Bacha: This spot features lakes, herds of cattle and sheep, and woodlands. It's super peaceful and comfortable, with almost no passersby. You can drive a small car to the entrance and then walk about 500 meters. 2⃣️ Yushugou Village: A village surrounded by grasslands. Starting from the sunset around 7-8 PM, you'll be amazed—it’s no less impressive than Baili Sky Road! Plus, you avoid the crowds there. At night, the Milky Way is absolutely stunning. You might even see a herder leading a dozen horses back to the mountain for grazing. 3⃣️ Erdao River: Another village, located next to Yak Valley, which is a long, narrow valley. It's convenient for washing up here. The mountain tops are already blooming with flowers, making it a great spot to catch a sunrise and sea of clouds in the morning. You'll feel like the trip was totally worth it! 4⃣️ Shangwopu: Nestled in a valley with herds of cattle and sheep, winding streams, and a tea shed run by a herder nearby. It's very relaxing and rarely disturbed by others. You can hike deep into the forest, where the blue skies and white clouds are absolutely breathtaking! 5⃣️ Bashang Wetland opposite the manor: Known as Little Altay, this area is surrounded by mountains and features small rivers along the way. You might even encounter sheep and cattle grazing nearby. 6️⃣ Zandan Manor's Tent Area: You can directly relax in the tent area without any camping preparations. Hot and cold water, showers, and restrooms are all available. Each room even has tea sets. Located by the small river near the manor, you can enjoy the forest, stream, and grassland—pure bliss!
