The bathroom details were especially considerate: non-slip mats in every room, toiletries from Xiamen’s local natural plant brand, and even bath balls infused with Gulangyu’s signature oceanic fragrance. Chaosu’s service was full of delightful surprises. Upon check-in, the butler presented a hand-drawn "Trendy Xiamen" map highlighting local gems even residents might not know. They also offered weather-tailored itinerary advice. The rooftop sky terrace was the ultimate highlight. At checkout, the front desk gifted me a digital photo album of my stay—a unique memento that instantly convinced me to book here again on my next Xiamen trip.
