#cityplaybook When I visited Komodough Artisan Bakery in Labuan Bajo, I was intrigued by their clever logo—a creative blend of a croissant dough shape and a Komodo dragon, perfectly capturing the spirit of the place. As for the pastries, the chocolate tart especially captured my heart. Unlike typical sweet tarts, it has a surprising twist—savory undertones blended seamlessly into the deep, dark chocolate flavor. It’s a bold combination that somehow works perfectly, leaving a lasting impression. I had also the pandan croissant, which packs a good deal of buttery goodness, although it lacked a good crispy layers.
