Arashiyama – Bamboo Grove, Tenryuji Temple and the Iwatayama Monkey Park. Day 2: Southern Higashiyama & Gion Traditional streets, geisha culture, and photogenic spots Fushimi Inari Taisha – Early morning for the torii gate hike. Magical and less crowded early. Kiyomizu-dera – Gorgeous temple with a view of the city. Ninenzaka & Sannenzaka – Walk these preserved streets with tea shops and crafts. Gion District – Stroll in the evening; you might spot a geisha. Day 3: Philosopher’s Path & Northern Temple Ginkakuji (Silver Pavilion) – Quieter, more contemplative vibe. Philosopher’s Path – Lovely walk, especially cherry blossom in April. Nanzenji & Eikando – Peaceful, beautiful grounds. Dinner in Kyoto Station – So many great options with a view.
