Tokyo Revisit Hidden Gem 02: The Ando Museum 🎨✨

#summervacay Although this is my second trip to Tokyo, I discovered a hidden gem just an hour away by Shinkansen—in Karuizawa: the Ando Museum, dedicated to the French-Japanese painter Tsuguharu Foujita (1886-1968), established by his patrons, the Ando couple. Besides Karuizawa’s shopping streets and unique churches, the museum is about a 20-minute walk from the Shinkansen station. Foujita’s artwork blends Japanese manga with academic sketching styles, especially his series of girls and cats.
