Hita, a small town near Fukuoka, was truly quiet and charming. Unlike the bustling atmosphere of Fukuoka city, it felt so peaceful that even time seemed to flow more slowly. The scenery along the Mikuma River was particularly beautiful, with traditional houses lined up and small shops and cafes nestled in between, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll. Walking along while watching the cruise boats gently floating on the river brought a sense of calm to my heart. Hita is also famous for its hot springs. Staying at a quiet ryokan and soaking in the baths was the ultimate healing experience.
