Summer in Strasbourg doesn’t announce itself. It hums quietly in the background, in the warmth of the stone beneath your feet, the rhythm of bicycles 🚲 passing, the way light rests softly on the water in La Petite France. We wandered with no map, just following the scent of fresh bread and the sound of shutters creaking open. Half-timbered houses lined the canals like a storybook 📚 you never outgrew. We crossed a footbridge lined with flowers and paused, not to take a photo, just to feel it 🏡🌸 The Cathedral ⛪️ rose like a flame above the square, casting long, cool shadows that felt like a gift. Inside, it was hushed and golden ✨ the kind of quiet that belongs only to old places in summer. We stood under the stained glass, bathed in jewel tones, and watched the light shift as if the building was breathing. Outside, the cafés buzzed gently. We lingered under a striped awning with iced coffee and the sounds of a violin floating up from the next street 🎻 Evenings stretched long and soft. At a little winstub tucked down a narrow lane, we ordered tarte flambée and crisp Alsace wine, both cold to the touch. The windows were open.
