The Great Khan's Palace

Today, I truly experienced the azure sky, fluffy white clouds, clear blue lakes, and the soft rolling green meadows of the grassland. I felt the presence of the blue sky and white clouds over the Mongolian yurts, and the vast, ancient, and profound spirit of the grassland. . Under the pure blue sky and amidst the broad and simple grassland, it seems as if my soul is cleansed, forgetting both self and material concerns, with all gains and losses, honor and disgrace becoming insignificant. . After breakfast, we left the hotel in Shangyuanyuan and first headed to the Great Khan's Palace in the northern grasslands of Beijing. The Great Khan's Palace was where Genghis Khan camped during his campaign against the Jin dynasty. Walking through the palace is like stepping onto the ancient battlefield of the grassland, with its iron cavalry. Genghis Khan's tents, the golden tents, sleeping tents, oboos, and the altar for sky worship are all lined up along the central axis, flanked by the imposing iron cavalry. In the distance, the meadows stretch out under the blue sky and white clouds, especially the Mongolian yurts of various styles, magnificent and splendid, shining brightly on this land steeped in history. Here, I truly saw the blue sky, white clouds, and Mongolian yurts. . By the time we finished touring the Great Khan's Palace, it was already 12 noon, so we simply had a picnic on the palace square and then drove to Dolon Lake in Xilingol. . Driving on the provincial road of Xilingol, even though it was noon, I was in high spirits. The blue sky, white clouds, the continuous meadows, and the wide road stretching ahead made it feel as if I was in a painting. I never expected the provincial roads of Inner Mongolia to be so wonderful!
