National Maritime Museum

The National Maritime Museum is located in the southern English town of Falmouth. Coinciding with Saturday, there is a small market outside the museum selling crafts, art and authentic snacks. The Museum is great for the whole family and not only has a large exhibition of ship models, submarines and ancient nautical equipment, but also an introduction to British naval history and Falmouth’s shipbuilding culture. Inside the children's interactive area has soft play and can simulate driving a boat. The museum has a glass observation tower on the highest floor that overlooks the entire harbor, while the bottom is even more special – a viewing window below sea level that overlooks the water below the pier and, if the time is right (e.g. high tide), sees fish swimming by, very special, as if diving into the bottom of the sea. #Parent-Child Activities
