Pha Dok Siew Waterfall or "Rak Jang" Waterfall 💚

#ChiangmaiTravel 📍Pha Dok Siew Waterfall or known as "Rak Jang Waterfall" is located in Doi Inthanon National Park, Chiang Mai Province. It is a medium-sized waterfall with beautiful and shady atmosphere. It is outstanding with the nature study trail "Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Nature Trail" that takes us through streams, lush forests and Karen villages. Each person or each group must have a local guide to take us. You can't walk by yourself. We got a guide, Mae Phon. She is quite old but very strong and a great walker. Along the way, we saw a green snake that blended perfectly with nature. The guide pointed it out. If there was no guide, we might have hit the snake 😂. It is considered a very close-up experience of the beauty of nature. If anyone is lucky, they will also see a goral. The guide walked to collect wild mushrooms. Along the way, there will be a waterfall flowing down among the rocks and large trees. It feels very refreshing, especially during the rainy season when there is a lot of water and lush nature. The highlight is the wooden bridge across Rak Jang Waterfall. 🏞 🔍Overall, the trail is not very difficult, but it is quite tiring 😆 It takes about 1-1.5 hours to walk. At the end of the trail, we will walk through the villagers' rice terraces. There is a weaving center of the village. It is also a community product for sale. After you have rested and recovered from your fatigue, there will be a motorcycle taxi service to take you to the parking lot. But if you can still walk, you can walk back. 😂 But I can't.
