A hectic senior trip to Budapest, Hungary, part 1

#Let'sGoOverseas My father likes sleeper train trips, so we were really looking forward to taking the sleeper train from Prague to Budapest this time! However, because I was late in booking, the private room was already booked. In fact, the price of the 4- or 6-person private rooms that you share with other people has gone up ridiculously. I was underestimating it. I didn't want to go at that price, so I booked a night bus without telling my parents. lol As a result, night buses are a no-go for seniors!! I was comfortable and slept soundly, but my father couldn't sleep. It was too hard. I regret it. But I think it's a memory that will last a lifetime. lol I arrived in Budapest at around 7am, went straight to the hotel, got an early check-in, and was back at work by noon. The hotel staff were so nice I cried. After a light lunch, we went for an exciting stroll around the city. The moment I saw St. Stephen's Basilica, all my fatigue disappeared! The three towering towers of this distinctive structure make it one of the most beautiful churches in Hungary. A marble statue of Stephen, the founding father and first king of Hungary, is enshrined behind the main altar.
