Exploring Bergen on foot is like walking through a postcard. The charming cobbled streets of Bryggen, with its colourful wooden houses and rich Hanseatic history, create a unique old-world atmosphere. I loved wandering through the narrow alleyways, popping into quaint little shops and cosy cafes, all while soaking in the vibrant yet laid-back vibe of the city. The views from Mount Fløyen were simply breathtaking. After a short funicular ride, I was greeted by panoramic views of Bergen, the surrounding mountains, and the sparkling fjords. It’s the perfect spot to pause and take in the beauty of Norway’s west coast. The highlight of the day, though, was the fjord cruise. Sailing through the majestic fjords, surrounded by towering cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and serene waters, was an unforgettable experience. The scenery was straight out of a fairytale, with every turn revealing more dramatic landscapes. It’s truly the best way to appreciate Norway’s raw, untouched beauty.
