Ayana Bali: A Wonderful Return Trip with the Kids! 🌴👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

#summervacay We recently made a spontaneous decision to re-visit Ayana Bali for our second trip with the kids, choosing it because I'd stayed there over a decade ago with my best friend. What a delightful surprise – the hotel has undergone a fantastic renovation, and the surrounding facilities are now excellent! Unexpected Delights & Planning Tips I didn't do any research beforehand, which was a missed opportunity! I really wish I'd packed some bright, light-colored swimsuits to capture all the beautiful photo opportunities – the hotel's shops didn't have many suitable options. Tip: Definitely download the hotel app in advance to book activities. We missed out on the popular Kampoeng performance dinner because it was fully booked! Kid-Friendly Fun & Dining Some important notes for families: The Thalassotherapy pool (sea water spa) does not allow children under 12 or under 1.5 meters tall. However, the Saka Museum was absolutely perfect for the kids and highly recommended for a family visit. For dining, the Italian restaurant by the sea was a huge hit with the children's palates – a great option for family meals. The hotel's shuttle service made getting around the expansive resort incredibly convenient. Perfect Timing! The weather during this season was absolutely perfect – comfortable temperatures made our entire stay even more enjoyable.
