We arrived early to explore the forested paths and admire the temple’s architecture, then settled in for the Kecak Fire Dance—an unforgettable performance of rhythmic chanting and flickering flames against the golden sky. Sarongs were provided at the entrance, adding a respectful touch to the experience. Cheeky monkeys roamed the grounds, so we kept our belongings close! Despite the crowds, the atmosphere felt sacred and timeless. Uluwatu Temple is more than a photo op—it’s a soulful journey into Bali’s cultural heart.
