Beautiful cherry blossoms in front of the American military base in Atsugi, Kanagawa

#sakura2024 #sakura2024 Today we traveled to see the cherry blossoms blooming along various roads in Japan. In particular, the area we were driving to now was Asuchi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. We passed an American military base located in Azuki City. In front of us, there was a large cherry tree on a small river bridge that was blooming beautifully. We parked the car immediately and quickly got out to take a souvenir photo. Both the strong and powerful military base and the blooming cherry blossoms seem to be a symbol of contrasting but understandable past history. In various areas, especially Yokohama and Kanagawa, there are many American military bases and we can see war planes taking off and landing all the time. This was another time to take a photo of cherry blossoms in front of an American military base. If anyone wants to see this kind of atmosphere, they will have to go during the cherry blossom season.
