Snow and rain that fall on Mount Yotei are filtered over decades through layers of lava and volcanic ash. The water is then blocked by a clay layer approximately 250 meters underground before emerging as exceptionally clean groundwater. The spring water maintains a constant temperature of approximately 6.8°C throughout the year and is characterized by its well-balanced minerals and smooth taste. --- 🧑🌾 Usage and Access to the Spring Water This spot is well-known among locals and visitors who bring water containers to collect the spring water directly.
