Jul ٢٩ to Aug ١Industrial action impacts Hull Trains servicePeriod:Tuesday, July ٢٩, ٢٠٢٥ to Friday, August ١, ٢٠٢٥Operators:Hull TrainsRelated Information:Industrial action is affecting Hull Trains services today. The following amendments will take place: Departures from Hull: 07:53 Beverley to London Kings Cross will start from Hull. Departures from London Kings Cross: 07:27 London Kings Cross to Hull will be cancelled. Ticket holders with ‘Hull Trains only’ tickets for the affected services can travel on any other Hull Trains service on the same date or the day either side of the affected date using existing tickets without having to change them. If alternative Hull Trains services are not suitable, customers are advised to purchase an alternative ticket. You can claim back the cost of your original ticket, plus the difference between the cost of the new ticket and the original ticket. Jul ٢٨ to Aug ١Repair works to the embankments at Crewkerne impact the routes to / from CrewkernePeriod:Monday, July ٢٨, ٢٠٢٥ to Friday, August ١, ٢٠٢٥Operators:South Western RailwayRelated Information:From Monday 28 July, Network Rail are carrying out repair works to the embankments at Crewkerne. This means trains between Exeter St Davids and London Waterloo will run non-stop between Axminster and Yeovil Junction, and not call at Crewkerne station. Rail replacement buses will run between Axminster and Yeovil Junction, calling at Crewkerne, in both directions. At present, it is not yet known when trains will call at Crewkerne again. We'll update you once we receive further information. Customer advice: If you're travelling by a replacement bus, your journey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete using this service. The car park at Crewkerne station will be reduced to facilitate the rail replacement bus service. The two accessibility parking bays will be temporarily relocated and will be directly in front of the station's main entrance.

As a result, buses will replace trains between Sellafield and Workington. Disruption is expected until further notice. Customer advice: Service impact Train services between Lancaster / Barrow-in-Furness and Carlisle will terminate at Sellafield and restart between Workington and Carlisle. Train services between Carlisle and Barrow-in-Furness / Lancaster will terminate at Workington and restart at Sellafield. Rail replacement transport Replacement buses are currently running between Sellafield and Workington in both directions. Please note that journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes whilst travelling by road transport. Ticket acceptance You can use your ticket on Avanti West Coast and TransPennine Express services, between Lancaster and Carlisle, at no extra cost. Any ticket restrictions have been lifted during this disruption.

Trains may be be cancelled or revised. Disruption is expected until the end of the day. Customer advice A reduced service will be in place until the end of service today, Friday 1 August. Southern services between Uckfield and Oxted will run on approximately a 2 hour frequency. Rail replacement buses have been requested to cover cancellations, which will be advertised in journey planners once confirmed. Please be advised if you're using road transport as an alternative, Southern recommend allowing at least 30 minutes of extra time for your journey. Make sure to check your journey before arriving at the station today. Ticket acceptance: To assist you with your journey tickets are being accepted on the following at no extra cost: Alternative Southern services on any reasonable route. Trains between London and Manchester are running, they’ll just take a few minutes longer going by a different route. Avanti trains to and from Manchester and Liverpool are running less frequently due to these diversions. Less frequent trains between London and Liverpool means a significantly reduced Avanti West Coast timetable at Lichfield Trent Valley and Tamworth. For customers heading to Wembley on 10 August for the Community Shield, this engineering work might affect their journey.
