Renfe Group Fare

Renfe offers travel discounts of 8% for groups of four to nine people travelling on AVE or AVE International trains. Groups of 10 to 25 people travelling on AVE, AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías trains can also receive up to a 50% discount. For groups of more than 25 people, you can submit a quote to see if it will be accepted. Please note that all Renfe group tickets are non-changeable. If you need to cancel, the entire booking must be cancelled according to the original ticket's terms and conditions, and a fee will apply.

Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Renfe provides discounts for large families in Spain, offering 20% for general category families and 50% for special category families on most train services, including AVE (high-speed) and Larga Distancia (long-distance) trains. However, these discounts do not apply to AVE International, Avant, or Cercanías trains. For single-parent families, discounts are valid only on Rodalies trains in Catalonia when using the relevant certificate issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Renfe Over-60s Fare

Renfe offers up to 40% discounts for those aged over 60 with the Tarjeta Dorada. The card costs €6 for one year, €12 for two years, and €15 for three years. If you are travelling on AVE and AVE international trains, you can get a 25% discount. For Avant trains, discounts vary between weekdays and weekends: during weekdays, you can get a 25% discount, while on weekends, you can receive a 40% discount.
