Reviews: Whale-Watching Cruise from Newport Beach
W***22024-07-24
Had some family from the east coast out for a visit and this was on their bucket list. As a SoCal native, being in, on and around the ocean my whole life, I knew that the ocean and wildlife don't always cooperate. But sometimes things just align and create a beautiful experience. Within the first few minutes and less than a mile from the harbor entrance, we were treated to an encounter with a Blue Whale named Kinko. We also were treated with the sighting of a Minke Whale which is not too common. After that we went out to find the mega pod of common dolphins. Hundreds of them! Captain Kayla along with Jill did a great job of putting us on the action and were very informative of the wildlife, keeping the passengers entertained. They may have even extended the trip "just a little" to make sure we saw as much as possible. Thank you ladies, you did a great job.

Relaxing boat ride unfortunately didn’t see any wildlife. Staff was friendly and the bar was good and great music track.
