2025 Santa Rita Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in July)

San Juanico Bridge was the longest bridge in the Philippines for decades until it was dwarfed by the new Cebu-Cordova bridge. Still a must-go and must-not-missed place if ever you are visiting Samar or Leyte!Definitely still worth to visit to take pictures, and experience walking in the bridge (especially the swaying). To go there, from Tacloban downtown, you can take a jeepney or bus going to Basey or Sta. Rita Samar. I was able to go there during daytime but locals suggest to go there by night time as well to see the lights on the bridge. Will definitely go back to see this at night!
