I visited during late lunch hours and ordered mushroom soup, seafood pasta, salmon steak, and Arabic mezze. The pasta was perfectly cooked with a delightful texture, generously filled with seafood, and seasoned just right. The highlight for me was the tender and rich salmon steak, paired with an exquisite cream sauce that enhanced its flavor. The Arabic mezze was also delightful, especially when enjoyed with Arabic bread. For dessert, I had cheesecake, which was dense and creamy, reminiscent of a specialty cheesecake shop. We arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar 🇧🇭, and went to the Doha Museum of Islamic Art 🏛. The building is very unique, in the middle of the sea 🌊. We walked along the seaside promenade 🌊 all the way until the sun set 🌅. The air was good and the scenery was beautiful. There were many cats along the way 🐱. Then we saw the Pearl Monument. In the evening, we went to the largest local traditional Souq Waqif souq 🌆. It is very big and sells everything. Then we went to the local supermarket to buy things as usual. The next day, we were supposed to take the subway 🚆 to Katara Cultural Village 🛖🏟, but the subway only starts operating at 14:00 on Fridays, which is the National Prayer Day, so we took a taxi. Katara Cultural Village is an amphitheater that combines Islamic and classical Greek drama concepts. It is a very large square 🏟. Next, we went to the Pearl of Qatar (Pearl Island), which is a man-made island. It is very large and full of high-rise buildings. It is so luxurious that you can't tell it is a man-made island. After the trip, we went to Place Vendome Mall, a famous mall in Doha, with many luxurious things. On the third day, we came to the suburbs for sand rushing, which is also the most exciting part of the trip. We first rode a camel. The camel was very high and shaky, which was a bit scary. We took pictures with eagles. Then we took a car to the desert for sand rushing. We drove all the way down from the 90-degree sand dunes. It was very exciting and dizzy. I felt like I was going to flip over. Then we experienced sand sliding and drove into the desert sea. It was a very strange sight. You can see the opposite country (Saudi Arabia) from here. After the trip, we took the subway to the National Museum of Doha and the Olympic Museum to take pictures. In the evening, we went to the local Carrefour to buy a bunch of biscuits. On the fourth day, I took the subway 🚆 to Qatar Library 🏤, Qatar University, Qatar Education City and Arab Museum of Modern Art for a leisurely walk. After that, I went to Doha International Airport for a transfer ✈️. It happened that the airport was celebrating its tenth anniversary and there were many tenth anniversary decorations.
