A Stroll Along Zhuhai Lovers' Road Coastal Promenade
The sea breeze, carrying a hint of salty air, gently brushes against the wooden boardwalk of the Lovers' Road Coastal Promenade. This 37-kilometer-long coastal ribbon, with its gentle curves, stitches together the city and the sea, making it the perfect starting point for experiencing the romance of Zhuhai.
Starting from the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center, stroll south along Lovers' Road. Along the way, you can see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge lying across the water like a giant dragon. When you reach No. 2 Landscape Bridge, the outline and lights of the Macau Tower (338 meters high) gradually become clear, forming a "tripod" skyline with the landmark towers of Hengqin Island. Standing on the bridge and looking into the distance, the buildings on the Macau Peninsula and the glass curtain wall of the Zhuhai Convention & Exhibition Center complement each other, and the magnificent integration of Zhuhai and Macao is visible.
The choice to depart at 4 p.m. is perfect, as it avoids the scorching sun and allows the setting sun to gild the beach. The glass curtain wall of the City Living Room reflects the colorful sunset, making it difficult to distinguish between the sea and the city. If you want to enjoy a panoramic view, you can go up to the viewing platform on the third floor of Block C of the Convention & Exhibition Center. The lights of the Macau Tower and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge are particularly dazzling at this time.
The romance of Lovers' Road is hidden in every wisp of sea breeze and every frame of light and shadow. Even when dusk completely engulfs the coastline, you still don't want to return, because you know that the stories of this road should be shared slowly with your loved ones.
