Bangkok | Leisurely and simple style, the designer hotel that Internet celebrities check in at Yolo Bangkok Hotel
#SingaporeThailand City Hotel
The brand new exterior of Yolo Hotel was designed by a famous architect. There is no trace of history at all as it was converted from a 69-year-old villa mansion. The interior is filled with a leisurely atmosphere. Located on Sukhumvit soi 15, it takes about 30 minutes to get there by taxi from the new or old airport in Bangkok. The transportation is convenient, and there is also a free Tuk Tuk pick-up service at the entrance of Soi 15, which is very considerate!
The lobby is designed to be comfortable and Zen-like, with half of it using natural lighting, which makes it feel very cozy. The public space has bookshelves and stands, and it is said that classic movie screenings are held from time to time.
The room feels very relaxed and comfortable, comfortable enough to feel like home, yet a little unreal... How should I put it? It's like an IKEA show unit. The lighting, furniture colors, and layout all give off a harmonious and peaceful vibe. It's spacious enough that you want to spend the whole day in the room wasting time... (Especially since the TV has Netflix already logged in!)
Another major feature of the hotel is that every room type has a bathtub, and the Elite Suite and two-bedroom Elite Loft where Nick stayed even had giant bathtubs! It's so big that three people can definitely fit in it~
For breakfast, you have to order it when you check in. Of course, it is not as rich as the buffet breakfast in a big hotel, but the quality is definitely very good, the ingredients are fresh, and you will feel like eating more~
This hotel, whether it is the room, breakfast, or public space, is very beautiful no matter how you take photos of it, and it is also very cost-effective.
