This time, we visited a charming cafe located in San Po Kong ❤️ to try their highly recommended slow-cooked pulled pork belly waffle sandwich 😆. The restaurant is decorated in a nostalgic style, exuding a retro vibe that takes you back to the 70s and 80s 😉. Truly unique 😆. Of course, the first thing we ordered was the waffle sandwich 😋. The pulled pork belly was piled high like a mountain 😍, topped with rich slices of cheese, creating an irresistibly aromatic and indulgent treat 😈. The waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a strong egg fragrance that paired perfectly with the savory pulled pork 🤤. We also chose two amazing desserts ☺️: French mille-feuille and tiramisu 😋. The mille-feuille was coated with smooth custard cream, and each layer was topped with a crispy and delicious Oreo cookie 🤩. The texture was incredible with every bite 😘—sweet but not overly so, and of excellent quality 😎. The tiramisu was served with espresso, ladyfingers, and custard cream separately, presented beautifully and eye-catching 🤗. Today, I accompanied a friend to Airside for a stroll and took the opportunity to visit a cafe in San Po Kong 😍. I had been planning to try this place for a while, but since it’s not very close to my home, I hadn’t had the chance until now. I chose a well-known cafe in the area called "Wozi." I ordered the Avocado and Tiger Prawn Salad 🥗🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 It was packed with ingredients! The tiger prawns were incredibly bouncy and flavorful, and there was half an avocado included. Paired with dragon fruit, green apple, pear, and balsamic vinegar dressing on a bed of fresh salad greens, it was very appetizing. Next, I tried the Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork Belly Waffle 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 This dish was quite unique, with a savory flavor profile. The pulled pork belly was juicy and tender, not dry at all, and it was served with cheese, tomato, and lettuce for a fresh combination. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the savory waffle complemented the dish—it was crispy and delicious. For dessert, I had the Matcha Strawberry Mille-Feuille with Strawberry Ice Cream 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 The matcha flavor leaned towards the sweeter side, and it was paired with fresh strawberry pieces and creamy layers, all encased in a crispy and fragrant mille-feuille pastry. It was a perfect match! Adding the strawberry ice cream created a delightful hot-and-cold contrast that was simply amazing. Food enjoyed: "Eight-hour slow-cooked soy sauce pork cartilage rice" comes with the set meal. I was attracted by its Chinese bowl. I took a sip and thought it was a Western soup at first, but it turned out to be a Chinese bamboo mat soup, which tasted as sweet as sugar water. The pork cartilage should have been cooked for a long time and should be dark brown in color. The meat should be soft and easy to chew. The soy sauce is strong but not too salty, and it is a delicious dish paired with rice. Food - Hot chocolate. I really don’t want to tear that delicate latte art.
