⛰️Mount Tadou is not particularly high, with an elevation of just 118m. It takes only about half an hour to climb from the foot of the mountain. Though not towering, this sacred mountain offers numerous attractions worth exploring. 🏯Huiyuan Chan Temple: One of the eight ancient temples in Fujian. Founded during the Yonghui and Kaiyuan periods of the Tang Dynasty, the current buildings were completed in 1992. The architectural style primarily follows Song Dynasty characteristics, incorporating Ming and Qing Dynasty decorative carvings. ⛰️Start your mountain journey from this temple, ascending from the entrance gate, passing through the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Main Buddha Hall, and the Hall of Great Compassion... Exit through the back door to reach the Guanyin statue, passing by a huge yellow wall inscribed with Buddhist wisdom. Huiyuan Temple also features many large camellia trees, which are quite beautiful. 🏯Guanyin Statue: Located behind Huiyuan Temple, the Guanyin statue stands 16.19m tall, at a total elevation of 91.9m. The pavilion next to the Guanyin statue plaza offers a panoramic view of Huiyuan Temple. 🏯Nine Immortals Pavilion: A newly renovated Taoist temple with exquisitely decorated entrance gate and Jade Emperor Hall, showcasing the dedication of Fujian people to their religious architecture. 🏯Wenchang Pavilion: Reportedly built during the Tang Dynasty and converted into Huixin Academy during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty. The current structure was built after the founding of the People's Republic. A statue of Qi Jiguang stands beside the pavilion. 🏯Wanshou Pagoda: Officially named Tianzhong Wanshou Pagoda, it is one of China's earliest Buddhist pagodas. Built during the Five Dynasties period, it has a history of over 1,000 years, dating back to 1059 (4th year of Jiazhe in the Song Dynasty). It is the only national key cultural relic protection site among all buildings on Mount Tadou and is worth visiting. 🏯Xianyou Vista: From Wanshou Pagoda at the mountain's peak, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Xianyou extending all the way to the distant bay. 🏯Fengting Old Street: The old street in Fengting Town, where Mount Tadou is located, offers a vibrant atmosphere with local delicacies. Try the wonton, fried oysters, and Fengting cake. The entrance is near the Cai Xiang statue at the bus station. - Tianzhong Wanshou Pagoda, also known as Toudou Pagoda or Qingluo Pagoda, is located on Toudou Mountain in Fengting Town, Xianyou County, Putian, Fujian Province. The pagoda is 7.4 meters high and 5.1 meters long, with a solid stone structure and five square layers. - Tianzhong Wanshou Pagoda was first built in the Five Dynasties. In the fourth year of Jiayou in the Song Dynasty (1059 AD), Cai Xiang, a scholar of the Duanming Hall in the Song Dynasty, rebuilt the pagoda. In the third year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1798), Tianzhong Wanshou Pagoda was also repaired, and the stone carvings on the north side of the upper base of the pagoda recorded this. - Tianzhong Wanshou Pagoda is a solid stone structure with five square layers, 7.4 meters high and 5.1 meters long. It is built on the mountain, with stone masonry, and the four corners of the top of the pagoda have banana leaf-shaped corners, and the top of the pagoda is gourd-shaped. The base is square, with a side length of 7.8 meters, and the base is a three-layer Sumeru seat, the first layer is carved with dragons, the second layer is carved with plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum, and the third layer is carved with Buddha statues and Hercules statues. The four sides of the pagoda are carved with double dragon play patterns, the bottom of the second layer is re-padded with Sumeru seats and has eight seat feet, the four corners of the pagoda are placed with round drum-shaped columns, each side is carved with four broken branch flowers, the third layer is chiseled into three arch-shaped shallow niches, each niche is carved with a Buddha statue, the four corners are made of reliefs of three-dimensional figures dressed in ancient warrior clothes, and the middle of each side of the fourth layer of the pagoda is a relief of a female bodhisattva wearing an ancient Indian crown, with two sides of the crown, and wearing earrings, and the four corners are carved with bird-mouthed human figures and long-winged Garuda statues as corner columns. - The shape is peculiar, and the reliefs such as the male and female double dragons hook each other with their tails in a mating state, and at the same time, they turn their heads, look at each other, and are affectionate; There are also peculiar bodhisattva and divine bird carving shapes, and the carving skills are exquisite, reflecting its unique artistic style and rich cultural connotation.

Two ancient towers in Xianyou. The Longhua Twin Towers are located on the east and west sides of the Longhua Temple in Dengta Village, Longhua Town. They are both imitation wooden tower-style Song towers, octagonal five-story hollow stone structures, 44.8 meters high, each side is 3.7 meters wide, and the outer diameter of the tower body is 8.8 meters. They are severely damaged and have been repaired and rebuilt. They are simple and crude, and it is doubtful whether they are old. The Longhua Temple was built in recent years and is not worth visiting. Tianzhong Wanshou Tower, standing on the top of Tadou Mountain in Fengting Town, is commonly known as 'Tadou Tower'. It faces north to south, uses the mountain as a base, and rises from the stone. It stands proudly in the air, as if standing in the sky, hence the name 'Tianzhong Wanshou Tower'. The stone structure is solid, square and five-story, 7.4 meters high, 5.1 meters long, and is a five-generation architectural style Ashoka Tower. The tower body is full of reliefs, unique and chic, shaped like a monk's hat. Standing on the side of the tower, overlooking Fengting, you feel relaxed and happy. A new Wanshou view was built in front of the tower, which is golden and brilliant, and finely carved.
