Borealis - Experience the magical splendour of the Northern Lights amidst our Supertrees Get to experience the Northern Lights in Singapore with Borealis, a new immersive light and sound installation at Gardens by the Bay’s Supertree Grove! Created by Switzerland-based artist Dan Acher, Borealis is an outdoor art installation that combines layers of light and cloud particles where the magical splendour of the Northern Lights, also known as aurora borealis, is recreated to illuminate the night skies of Supertree Grove. Accompanied by an atmospheric soundtrack by French composer Guillaume Desbois, variations in wind, humidity and temperature make this installation a fascinating blend of art and technology, an ever-changing experience, where each encounter is unique and where nature holds the final say. Borealis has travelled to more than 40 cities across Europe, Australia, Asia and the US, and the experience at Gardens by the Bay will mark its first time in Singapore.
