Initially, I was a bit disappointed, but our last-minute switch to a "boat + cable car" combination turned out to be unexpectedly perfect! Recommended Itinerary: We started our journey by taking a boat from the St. Wolfgang Markt pier. After about 20 minutes, we disembarked at St. Gilgen. Ticket prices: Adults €13.80; Children (6-15 years) €6.90; Children (0-5 years) free. From the boat landing, it was less than a 10-minute walk to the Zwolferhorn cable car station. The cable car ride was very smooth, taking about 15 minutes to reach the summit.
