I went to SPAWORLD HOTEL & RESORT, a hot spring theme park that is right next to Shinsekai and has a room with a view of Tsutenkaku and a hot spring theme park where you can spend the whole day. This room had a view of Tsutenkaku, which was great✨ Because it was the peak season, the larger rooms were already booked even two months in advance, so I recommend making a reservation early! You can enjoy hot springs from all over the world, rock baths, pools, games, gyms, and restaurants, so you can enjoy the day with your family, friends, or as a couple👌 You can wander around Shinsekai until late at night, and Donki is right next door, so it's easy to access✨ You have to wear a swimsuit to use the pool, and they also have rentals! Great place close to the center of Osaka where you can escape the busy streets for a day and relax your mind and body. A gym is included in the price so you can start your visit with a healthy work-out and after relax your muscles in a sauna. After relaxing you have the option to have lunch or dinner for a good price, and finish your day with a bubble bath and a dip in the cold pool. We visited this place in the evening. There were not many people around. We were asked to remove our shoes & store them in lockers on ground floor with 100 Yen coin. Then we proceeded upstairs to the spa area. Men and women are separated into different floor, and this gets swap every month. When we visited, women floor was Asian and men were European. The Asian section included different pool renovated according to different Asian themes - Japanese, Bali, etc, both indoor & outdoor, & sauna with salt & massage & facials parlour. I particularly like the Dr Spa sections with various pools with health benefits, eg, improve blood circulation, good for cardiovascular health, improving skins conditions etc. Towels & toiletries items & hair dryers are provided. However, no clothes are allowed in the spa, not even swim wear, there are small towels provided but you can't bring it into the pool. Overall, it's a great experience if you can get over being naked in the spa & I will definitely return. Definitely worth a day's visit. #givethanks #givethanks

#TaipeiHotel This time I stayed at Miramar Garden Taipei for 4 nights and 5 days. The deluxe twin room was spacious, about 35-40 square meters, I think. It was very spacious everywhere and very relaxing. Breakfast was included and it was a buffet. There are very few coffee shops in Taiwan, and most of them are small places like simple Lu Rou Fan, so it was great that breakfast was included this time. There was also a gym, outdoor pool, and even a large public bath called San Now, so I was able to relax a lot. The atmosphere was good, the service was attentive, and they even lent me an umbrella on a rainy day. I recommend it. The hotel is close to Taipei Station, about a 10-minute walk from Xinsheng Zhongxiao Station on the Bannan Line. A taxi from Taipei Station costs less than 1,000 yen.
