Authentic Ageless Thailand
We were initially looking for a coffee shop to a point where we suddenly went to Soi Rambuttri. Mindlessly, we took a cab here to find for authentic coffee shops. Little did we know, this place actually had numerous stops that is perfect for picture taking for the gram. We had fun with the simple colors of the walls and just went with it. The main street is one stretch here wherein there are parked cars on both sides. Moreover, there are numerous shopping bazaars also present in the vicinity. We were able to shop around for about close to an hour. Specifically, this is the place where we about our signature cups and elephant pants from Thailand.

A lively street in Bangkok
#thailandtrip
A city known for its vibrant energy, glowing neon lights, bustling stalls, and diverse mobility from tuk‑tuks to motorbikes.
Bangkok’s streets are a captivating blend of:
✅Street food culture: Vendors and carts selling classics like pad thai, mango sticky rice, and tom yum soup fill the sidewalks from dawn to late night.
✅Transport variety: Expect to see a mix of tuk‑tuks, motorcycles, songthaews (converted trucks), cars—and sometimes cyclists and pedestrians sharing the narrow lanes.
✅Vibrant markets: Many streets act as open-air hubs, hosting night markets, clothing stalls, souvenirs, fresh produce, or seafood.
✅Cultural landmarks: Temples and shrines frequently nestle amid commercial buildings—take Soi Rambuttri near Khao San Road or the Sikh shrine at Silom Lane, for example.
✅Architectural blend: Old colonial or traditional Thai shophouses often contrast with modern high-rises, creating dynamic urban vistas.

Funky bar in Bangkok
#bangkoktrip
Next to Khao San Road in Bangkok, is Soi Rambuttri which is a bit more quiet. There is a very big bar on this street called My Darling which is a bar with great staff and service. A big area of the bar is situated outside which is perfect in this area as it’s a busy road and great for people watching which gives it a lovely ambiance. They have a good food menu and are open until quite late in the evening. There is also a very big indoor area with lots of traditional Thai decor. They have some special cocktails on their menu as well as the standard drinks that you would expect. The business hours are 10am - 2am and the average drink price is around 50 RMB
