The water was an unbelievable shade of blue, and the beach was peaceful with far fewer people than the more popular White Beach. Getting There - Puka Beach, also known as Yap Beach or Puka Shell Beach, is located across from Carabao Island and is the second largest beach in Boracay. Attractions - The beach is located on the north coast of Boracay. It was previously famous for its Puka seashells that are suitable for decoration, and is now known as a peaceful beach. Celebrating a birthday here? Even more unforgettable! To make my stay more exciting, I went for island hopping and even tried parasailing - and that's just scratching the surface. There are so many things to do in Boracay. If you're lucky, you might even catch the famous fire dance at night. I did, and I happened to get a front row spot, which made it even more magical. Getting there was pretty easy: I flew from Manila to Caticlan Airport. From the airport, I shared a tricycle ride to Caticlan port, which only cost Php50. If you prefer more privacy, you can hire the trike for yourself, but it'll cost a bit more. Tricycles are great for short distances, while van transfers offer more comfort - especially if you're carrying a lot of luggage or traveling in a group. The ride from the airport to the port takes just around 5-10 minutes. From Caticlan Port, I took a ferry to Boracay. To enter the island, you'll need to pay the following fees: > Environmental Fee: Php 300 for foreign tourists > Terminal Fee: Php150 > Ferry/Boat Ticket (Pump boat): Php50 These fees are usually paid to different personnel at the jetty port before boarding the ferry. Once you arrive on the island, you can fake another tricycle or van to your accommodation - the cost depends on your chosen mode of transportation. Overall, the journey is smooth and totally worth it. Boracay's charm, from its vibrant sunsets to its laidback island vibe, is the memorable birthday escape. 💙🌊

Boracay was actually the 2nd choice, but there was the pandemic. This time, I decided to change because the first option I had was canceled. And it was a good decision. I stayed in station 3, where it is not crowded, but it is not very quiet too. I have days full of activities, and I have days just chilling. I have met people, mostly foreigners, and they're enjoying their stay, which makes me somehow proud. As we are promoting the Philippines being more fun. Boracay offers different activities. Whether you are fond of water activities or land tours or island hopping. And each station differs depending on what you prefer. Station 2 is the most crowded or noisy due to more bars, restaurants, and nightlife. It is best to avoid going to Boracay during the rainy season or when there's typhoon.

#beachtime Puka Beach - best place to sit on the sand and just listen to the waves as it seems like a lullaby. Also, when the cool wind touches our face, it turns out to be a gently hand that caresses us to sleep. So relaxing! 🏝️😌😎 PS: There is an option for us to rent a banig for an affordable price. Just approach a personnel (kuya) that you can see around. Or you can just bring your own 😉
