Sydney Observatory, located at Observatory Hill Park This place holds countless memories for me as it was my first overseas travel destination. I can never forget the night view I saw here~ It has become even more popular now. Google Maps Search: Observatory Hill While the sunset is famous, the direction of the sunset is opposite to the Harbor Bridge. A place filled with stunning night views and the joy of stargazing If you want to spend a leisurely day in Sydney, I highly recommend visiting **Sydney Observatory**, located on a hill near The Rocks. Situated at the edge of a hill overlooking the Sydney Harbor Bridge, this spot is beautiful during the day but truly transforms into a 'starry' world at night. This time, I visited during the day to take some photos. I relaxed under the shade of the trees and even read a book^^. I highly recommend visiting both during the day and at night! When the sun sets, that's when the real magic begins! Bring a picnic mat and some snacks for the ultimate experience 🎒

Itinerary DAY 1： - arrived at accommodation. Staying in somewhere near the rocks is an amazing area that has easy access to so many amazing things - Sunday markets at millers point. Great food and cool souvenirs - walk from markets to the opera house. Really nice views and shops along the way - Go visit Benny the seal. He is usually lying at the steps near the back of the opera house when the sun is out. - Wingstop for dinner. Long wait but food is nice especially since it is the only one in Australia DAY 2: - Wake up early and walk from Bondi beach to Coogee beach. The walk is long but beautiful so it’s totally worth it - Get fro yo after the walk at Yo-chi. It’s super yummy especially after a long walk - Get an uber to the art gallery. It was much more impressive than I anticipated. Super big and so much to see. - Walk over to the museum. Nice exhibitions. Also stop at the cathedral on the way to the museum it is quite nice. - For dinner went to a place called flight club. Super nice vibe and you can play darts there. Food was also very tasty. They also have a fun disco music telephone booth at the entrance where you call a number in the phone booth and it plays different songs. Very cool. DAY 3: - Shopping at Westfield. Quite a lot of shops. - Visit china town - Explore the botanic gardens. They are huge and very nice. Nice views of harbour bridge and opera house too. - head to observatory hill for an amazing sunset 🏨 Accommodation - Millers point Waterview share house. Plenty of space and amenities. Not super duper clean but it’s still fine. Great location and a very nice place overall if you’re not too picky and on a budget. 🍴 Food Recommendations - Flight club -Wingstop 📌 Tips - If you stay in a convenient location in the cbd you will have a much nicer and more convenient time in Sydney

The park is also connected to The Rocks area, which features markets surrounded by charming vintage shops and cafes that you should definitely try—especially the Tea Cosy shop. Lovely old trees, some well maintained grass and a scattering of Park benches make this a picnic destination in good weather. I went with a group of friends to sketch the view and the were two separate catered picnics, a couple of girls filming a dancer routine in the rotunda, people scattered around drawing and reading, and innumerable others strolling or relaxing in the grass. I spent a few days in Sydney and I loved it! The Harbour Bridge is one of the main attractions and I really enjoyed traveling to different locations around the city to photograph it against different backdrops. Here were my favorite locations: 1️⃣ Observatory Hill Rotunda - In my opinion this is the best viewpoint in Sydney! The best part is that it is walking distance to the Sydney CBD! 2️⃣ Blues Point Reserve - Another good viewpoint but you’ll need to take public transport. Take either the T1 or T9 train 🚇 to North Sydney and then walk for about 20 minutes down Blue Points Road. Or you can take the ferry ⛴️ from Circular Quay to McMahon’s Point! 3️⃣ Mrs Macquaries Point - Another popular spot near Sydney’s Botanical Gardens 🪴 After soaking up the skyline it’s a nice place to take a walk and admire the variety of trees and flowers on display! 4️⃣ Sydney Harbor Bridge - The walk across the bridge is worth it. Take some really cool pictures of the bridge as well as the city below.
