[2025 Zurich Attraction] Travel Guide for Museum of Art (Kunsthaus Zurich) (Updated Jul)

In Zurich, I walked on cobblestone streets and saw many old buildings. In Geneva, I walked across a long bridge and saw a fountain that was dozens of meters high. This is how I arranged the route Day 1 Rhine Falls + Zurich City Tour (Bahnhofstrasse + Augustiner Lane + Lindenhof Mountain Park + Frauenkirche + Zurich Art Museum + Swan Lake) the next day Lucerne (Sleeping Lion Statue + Water Tower Flower Bridge + Musegg City Wall + Visit the century-old watch shop in the old town) + Lungern Town (check in the famous S-bend photo check-in point + Lungern Lake) + Interlaken Day 3 First Mountain Fun Project Experience + Interlaken Paragliding Day 4 Visit the fairytale town of Spiez (Spiez Castle + Cathedral) + Swiss capital + Einstein's former residence + Old Town Bear Park) Day 5 Montreux Town (Chillon Castle) + surrounding small towns (Lausanne Olympic Museum + Audrey Hepburn's former home in Morges) Day 6 Geneva (Broken Leg Chair + Old Town + Jet d'Eau + Lake Geneva) Then I registered in Geneva and went home. A great place in the city of Zurich, just a 15 minute walk from Zurich HB station, but unfortunately I didn’t have enough time to enjoy every series. There were no tourists, it was quiet and spacious, which made me happy and connected with the artworks. A true art house. I've been to many places like this but I was very surprised here. I would give the current program top marks. There was no telling of the part that Yoko Ono was going to experience. Prices are adjusted according to national and municipal standards. If you are a student, you can enjoy discounts on tickets. According to the information I received there, Wednesday is a free admission day. The lighted room is so great, it would be great to write a true fantasy novel. With its light-filled cuboid design, the Chipperfield Building is also a highlight for architecture enthusiasts. Visitors are welcomed by a spacious central entrance hall, which is connected to the Moser Building via an underground passage. The new building houses a design store, bar, banquet hall and "art garden", establishing an organic connection with the surrounding neighborhood. Visitor Experience • Many visitors appreciate both the art and the thoughtfully designed spaces. • Recommended visit duration is 2–3 hours, potentially longer for art enthusiasts. • Free entry on Wednesdays (for the collection only) with discounts for students. 6. I visited the Zurich Art Museum, and the atmosphere here was exceptionally tranquil. There weren’t many visitors, which gave me ample time to appreciate each painting. The museum houses numerous renowned artworks, including Van Gogh’s self-portrait, Monet’s water lilies, and Picasso’s paintings. I was thrilled to see these masterpieces, as they not only showcase the artists’ talents but also deeply reflect the culture and emotions of different eras. The museum’s exhibitions are divided into two buildings, each with three floors, displaying a vast collection of paintings and sculptures. Each floor has a unique theme, offering a feast for the eyes. As I walked through the museum, I couldn’t help but pause to savor the colors and brushstrokes of each painting. Especially when I saw Van Gogh’s self-portrait, I felt the emotions he conveyed on the canvas, as if I could sense his inner struggles and passion. Every piece of art has a story behind it, making me eager to learn more about the artists’ lives and creative processes. However, due to limited time, I couldn’t thoroughly admire all the artworks, which left me feeling a bit regretful. As I stepped out of the museum, my heart was filled with awe for art and a longing for beauty. The artistic atmosphere here is profoundly different from other art museums—more intricate and profound—giving me an indescribable sense of peace and fulfillment. This experience has deepened my love for art and inspired me to explore more artworks. I highly recommend visiting this museum, whether you’re an art enthusiast or simply looking to relax. I visited Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland, located in the northeastern part of the country. Zurich serves as the economic and business hub, hosting numerous banks, universities, and an international airport. As the most important city in Switzerland, the best way to experience Zurich is by strolling through the city. There are several places highly recommended for a visit. 1️⃣Bahnhofstrasse Home to the world's top luxury brands and private banks, Bahnhofstrasse is one of the most expensive streets in the world. Shopping here is a pleasure, but just browsing is also great. 2️⃣St. Peter's Church There are many places named St. Peter's Church around the world, but Zurich's St. Peter's Church is not only the oldest in the city, but its tower also houses the largest church clock in Europe. 3️⃣Lindenhof Hill Don't think that just because it's called a 'hill' you have to climb; it's a hill that you can easily ascend, offering an excellent view from the top and a great spot to overlook the entire city of Zurich.
