Introducing Murano Island, a remote island that can be reached in about 20 minutes by water bus from the main island of Venice! This island is also about 30 minutes away from Burano Island by water bus, so you can visit both islands together! Murano Island is famous for Venetian glass, and there are many glasswork shops. Highly recommend signing up for the guided tour of the St. Mark's Clock Tower, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of St. Mark's Square and the Doge's Palace. The tour also includes tickets to the Correr Museum, making it a great deal. After that, we stopped by the famous Libreria Acqua Alta for some photos. Since we had purchased a one-day transportation card for Venice, we took the water bus to Murano and Burano islands, where we witnessed a breathtaking sunset. 🌅*If time permits, you can spend a whole day exploring these two islands, taking photos, and enjoying a leisurely pace.
