🍷The time of sleeping underground - Entering the ruins of Yanghe underground wine cellar in Shanghai Under the bustling urban network of Shanghai, there is a quiet and dreamy corner - the ruins of Yanghe underground wine cellar. This is not a popular check-in attraction, and even navigation is not easy to find its real entrance. But once you step in, you will find that the hustle and bustle of the city is like being isolated by a thick stone wall, leaving only the slight aroma of wine in the air, quietly telling the years. Walking down the stone steps, the temperature of the cellar dropped sharply, and it was as cool as water. Above the head is an arched brick dome, the wall is mottled, and the strokes of time are left on the wall. The space echoes with a little dampness and fermentation, as if time is breathing slowly here. You can imagine that there used to be tens of thousands of bottles of brewed wine stored here, waiting for the years to mature, and it was also the scene where workers worked hard day after day. The hotel environment is absolutely beautiful with strong air conditioning – you can feel the coolness as soon as you step inside! The spacious room features two beds, a bathtub, a hammock, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views right from your bed! It was too hot during the day, so we visited the amusement park after dinner and couldn’t even finish exploring – there are way too many fun facilities! It’s best to visit on a cooler day. The included lunch/dinner and breakfast in the package were delicious! Free shuttle service is available for transportation – just call the front desk in advance! There are also complimentary activities like boat rides, fish feeding, swan feeding, a mini train, and DIY projects – one day is definitely not enough to enjoy everything!
