❣️It's Not Just an Airport. It's Home Between Countries.
📌 How I Spent 12 Hours at Kuala Lumpur Airport — and Flew Away Relaxed, Fed, and Massaged
Have you ever dreamed of an airport where you could do more than just wait for a connection — actually spend quality time living?
For five years now, I've been regularly crossing Asia.
Bali → Vietnam → Thailand → Japan → Maldives…
Almost always, my journey passes through Kuala Lumpur International Airport — one of Southeast Asia's largest aviation hubs.
Before, I'd always leave the terminal to explore the city, wander streets, visit cafés, find local markets, and create food-and-photography sets.
But this year, I decided:
🚩 "What if I stayed here? What if I turned my layover into part of the trip itself?"
Guess what?
I flew away refreshed, fed, massaged shoulders, dressed in new clothes, and holding a cup of coffee.
Simply because I discovered the EverLounge business lounge system.
🛌 Why Did KLIA Become My Favorite Airport?
- It’s huge, but incredibly well-designed.
- Here, you can find local cuisine that's cheaper than in European terminals.
⏳ My Story: One Night in KLIA Without Leaving the Terminal
This time, I had a night layover — 12 hours between flights.
Before, I would have definitely gone outside: walked around, had dinner, maybe watched a starlit movie (as in TeeCinema).
However, this time I thought:
"I'll stay in the airport. I'll check whether it can replace a hotel room."
Here's how it went.
💡 Lifehack: EverLounge — Business Lounges with&Without Status Requirements
Until then, I believed business lounges were reserved for platinum cardholders and frequent flyers.
Thanks to EverLounge — a subscription-based access system to business lounges worldwide — I realized:
> This option is available to everyone. And worth it.
Entry costs around $25-30
Inside, however, you'll find everything needed for rest:
- Comfortable armchairs and shower rooms
- Food zones (dinner, breakfast, snacks)
- Freshly squeezed juices, local dishes, coffee
- Meditation and workspaces
- Even a massage corner some place!
- Of course, tranquility, solitude, and the chance to simply be yourself.
🧘♀️ Here's How I Spent Those 12 Hours:
1. Arrival at 11 PM: quickly located the entrance via the EverLounge app.
2. Come to next international departures- I’m already was have tikets
3. Choose Capsule hotel it’s was working 24/7 and give opportunity to spend 3 hours of sleep 💤 if you need more, you can buy more but I wasn’t need
4. After comfortable wake up and shower, I’m take all my clothes and come through there Travel lounge number one.
5. After small and healthy breakfast, I was go for a massage. Yes, it’s electronic machine massage, but it was very comfortable and bright.
Highly recommend
