The exterior is white and simple, making it a stylish shop! The interior is also clean, with a white background, so it's sure to look great on Instagram! When I entered this cafe, the smell of the cookies was so good that I was lured in by the smell and bought some! ️ The cookies were very voluminous, thick 👀 baked crispy, and although they were simple, they had a strong buttery taste and were very delicious! I ordered a drink that was a mix of matcha and shots, and although it had a moderate bitterness, it was creamy and went very well with the cookies! Kotton is one of those modern places where the coffee looks like a piece of art on display. Their sense of minimalist design in a traditional Korean property adds to the ambience of this cafe. It is not just beautiful but absolutely delicious drinks. The barista brings your drinks out to the seating area, which is furnished with phone chargers and seat pillows for comfort. The camo is a great latte with espresso foam and a hint of matcha, but it's more of a vanilla latte with matcha rather than a true matcha latte. So you are better of not having pre meditated ideas of what your drink should taste like. Consider it their take on things. The fluffy is the quintessential vanilla latte, topped with a creamy foam that lives up to its name. Definitely drop by for drinks and a cookie if you plan to explore Insa-dong. It's conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Anguk Station! 🚶 It's close enough to walk from Ikseon-dong! KOTTON SEOUL Introducing a Hanok Cafe in the Insadong area! As you walk down the narrow alleys of Insadong, you'll come across a white, inorganic, stylish cafe unlike any other! ☁️ The white, glass-fronted exterior made it easy to find without getting lost 👀 There are only brown Hanok buildings around, lol The order counter is right after you open the door! The menu is only in English! Not only drinks, but also cookies and more 🍪 The signature menu of the shop is a cream latte, an Americano topped with cream and honey! ✨ There are also matcha and peanut cream lattes! It was very hot that day, so I ordered a drink with non-caffeinated lemon sorbet on top 🍋 lol Drinks are 5000w to 7500w Cookies are 4500w and come in various flavors! You can pay with cash, card, or wowpas! 💸 You order and then pick up when your order is called! The place to order is separate from the cafe space! You can choose between a terrace-like atmosphere or the inside of the store!! The glass-walled interior is bright and open because it lets in a lot of sunlight!! #koreatrip Kotton Seoul is a breath of fresh air in every sense. Stepping through their doors separates you from the frantic world outside. A masterpiece of Feng shui; with quality and simplicity, it sets the tone to appreciate the sophisticated and delicate coffees and cakes on offer. All of which are made on-site and something to behold. Everything in this place is considered and a pleasure to experience. The ambience, atmosphere, decor, cutlery and crockery, service, coffee and cakes. I came here daily during my stay in Seoul. I had to. The peace and tranquility offered, allowing me to be present and mindful whilst enjoying good coffee was addictive. I laughed to myself after my first visit when the barista’s valediction in his quiet confidence was “see you tomorrow” knowing that the flat white and cookie had me convicted.
