👋 Hi everyone, I just came back from an amazing trip to Komodo Islands, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Indonesia 🇮🇩 🐉 Komodo Islands are home to the largest living lizard on earth, the Komodo dragon. These creatures can grow up to 3 meters long and weigh up to 150 kg. They are also venomous and can run up to 20 km/h. I was lucky enough to see them up close on a guided trekking tour in Komodo National Park 🌳 🌊 But Komodo Islands are not only about dragons. They also have some of the most stunning marine life I've ever seen. I went snorkeling and diving in the crystal clear waters and saw colorful corals, turtles, manta rays, sharks, dolphins, and more 🐠 🏝 The islands also have beautiful beaches, some of them with pink sand. I loved relaxing on the shore and watching the sunset over the horizon 🌅 🙌 This trip was one of the best experiences of my life and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves nature and adventure. To get to Padar island you will have to take a boat from the main land of Labuan Bajo which takes around 3 hours, but is usually combined with a trip to Komodo National Park. Take a look at the tour operators on Labuan Bajo and see which day trip best suits your schedule. No trip to Komodo is complete without a selfie with the world’s largest lizard, and these are almost guaranteed in these sacred islands. The best place to see them is Rinca Island. Komodo Resort had sixteen seafront bungalows with private bathrooms and terraces. They were kept impeccably clean. All meals were included in the cost of accommodation. Breakfast was by buffet, but lunch and dinner were served a la carte. The Chef specialized in Indonesian and Italian food. Incredibly, the resort had a pizza oven and we had a pizza night. Completing our experience, the resort had a beach-side spa and bar. We loved ending our day with a massage, followed by drinks to watch the sunset. The overall vibe to this resort was beach bum meets tropical cocktails with umbrellas. The staff hangs out at the beach bar in the evening all the while making sure we had everything that we wanted or needed. This place is just absolutely stunning! It’s a big complex consisting of so many islands that you can visit, hike, and do hop on and hop off in between. My recommendation is to stay at least 3 Days 2 Nights at a cruise so you can explore and have all places to visit, hiking to the top of 3-4 islands to see the greatness in the morning for sunrise and afternoon for sunset at different place. There are so many cruise tour package with affordable price. Our trip to the Komodo National Park was amazing to say the least. Seeing these prehistoric and now rare Komodo Dragons was an out of this world experience. Visiting Komodo was one of the best travel adventures I could ask for! We chose to explore it with Le Pirate and spent 5 days on a boat cruising around crystal lagoons. The nature of Komodo is truly unique and spectacular and so it the wildlife. We were lucky to swim with manta rays, see Komodo dragons and see thousands of bats flying from the mangroves into the sky at sunset. One of the highlights was also sleeping on Le Pirate island which is home to a wonderful coral reef. Komodo is definitely the highlight of our trip around Indonesia! #komodo #indonesia

This national park consists of many small islands which would require you to spend at least 2 – 3 days to enjoy at least the most famous ones. Here you can see the different three island from the top! Have to hike up to the top . First 3 quarters part are stairs , pretty easy to walk . The rest are stones, sometimes can be slippery ! It’s pretty hard to climb up in hot weather. Even though the tour will organize this is the first stop , and begin there around 7:30-8am, still you will feel the hotness. #Share the plan for the first Indonesian trip! 6 days in total, travel to Bali, cross to Nusa Penida Island and sleep on a boat to visit Komodo ⛵️ We almost covered all the places that our friends and I wanted to go to, but we woke up super early, before 5 am every day 😂 Let's follow along. While traveling, we were confused whether we were here to rest or practice for the battlefield. Everyone came back looking very tired. Day 1 - Bali 🌴 - Arrived in Bali at noon, so today we didn't have much time. - Pison cafe 🍴 - Monkey Forest - Tegalalang Rice Terrace (We avoided day clubs like Cretya because they were so crowded if we didn't go right after they opened) - Nusantara by Locavore 🍴 - Stayed at Zen hideaway 🛖 Day 2 - Bali 🌴 - Woke up early to watch the sunrise Ready to lie down for a while and then come out to play Bali swing at the accommodation. Shared by only 3 villas - Handara gate - Ulun Danu Beratan Temple - Leke Leke Waterfall - Penny Lane 🍴 - Bodyworks Spa 🧖🏻♀️ - Kilo 🍴 Day 3 - Nusa Penida 🌊 - Boat around 6:30 to Nusa Penida Island - Tree house - Diamond beach - Kelingking beach - Take the boat around 16:30 back to Bali - Skool 🍴✨ This restaurant is very good. You have to try it. - Mexicola Day 4-6 - Komodo ⛵️ - It's a 3-day, 2-night boat trip. You have to fly to Labuan Bajo first. It's about an hour's flight from Bali. - Snorkeling at 4 spots. It's so much fun. I even saw manta rays. - Taka Makassar - Padar Island Highlights of the trip: Wake up at 4 am to watch the sunrise - Pink beach - Komodo national park - Kalong island Watch bats at sunset 🦇 - On the last day, we will go snorkeling quickly before going back. The trip will end around noon and then fly back. Those who do not want to sleep on a boat can buy day trips instead. But the plan will be a bit tight. This trip focuses on relaxing travel, spending a lot of time at each place. Some places require walking up and down, which takes a certain amount of time. We may not be able to go to many places to take photos for content because the popular photo spots require a minimum queue of almost 2 hours. That is not enough time. 😰 And I would like to share what we encountered from the perspective that there are only beautiful photos. Bali is not that kind to us. 🤧 So that we do not have too high expectations. - Traffic is soooooo bad. Bangkok is bad, but this is even worse. Going anywhere takes 1-2 hours. A whole day is wasted on the road. If you want to rent a car and drive yourself, don't do it. Anyone who can ride a motorbike and wants to rent one, it's okay, but look carefully. - Photo spots, check-in, beautiful pictures on Instagram, the minimum wait is 2 hours. Go somewhere else 😂 - Visual sexual harassment with eyes that are beyond anyone else, like staring at each other while turning your head from left to right. I actually understand because some days Pang and my friends wear shorts because we're going to the beach, but oh well, if they could cut it and look at it themselves, it would be okay. - Some people have no manners. If they want to secretly take pictures, they'll hold it right in front of their faces. Some people FaceTime us, and when we block them and turn away, they'll follow them, looking for another chance to take pictures. They don't care. So annoying. - The airport's facilities are terrible. Our group encountered a case where a friend had an accident and had to use a wheelchair, but there was no wheelchair in front, so we had to run inside to ask for it. The staff in front just let us put our bags on the wheelchair in order to collect money for the wheelchair. 😡 Instead of helping to coordinate, it's not like in Thailand where they take such good care of us that they send us to the hospital in the back of the airport. #PangWantsToShare #Bali #TravelPlan

Hidden between the blue sea and blue sky of Indonesia is a surprising island - Komodo Island. The 1️⃣ stop is "PADAR ISLAND", Padar Island, the human Sarda. You need to climb a mountain, but there are stairs, so it is basically not difficult. Just pay attention to sun protection if the weather is fine. There will be more people at the photo spot and you have to queue. It takes 30 minutes to reach the top, and you can see the beautiful scenery of four bays. The 2nd stop is "PINK BEACH", a pink beach that is visibly pink. You can play in the water, pick up shells, have a drink in the small pavilion nearby, and watch the deer. Stop 3️⃣ "KOMODO ISLAND" Komodo National Park, looking for Komodo dragons. The park entrance fee is not included in the cost of the entire trip and needs to be charged an additional 400k per person.
