Ko Ko Hotel in Osaka's Shinsaibashi
Ko Ko Hotel in Osaka's Shinsaibashi area is truly a great value for money. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from the subway station, 10 minutes to Dotonbori, and 20 minutes to Kuromon Market. The hotel is conveniently situated with plenty of drugstores, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby, such as FamilyMart, Lawson, Torikizoku, Gyutan Yoshiji, Sanpou Ramen, and Dotonbori's famous takoyaki and gyoza spots. On the first floor lobby, the hotel provides amenities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, mouthwash, and combs. The elevators are sufficient, the WiFi is stable, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The bathroom facilities are excellent, with strong water pressure, and the rooms are equipped with heating during winter to keep you warm. The front desk staff are friendly and speak English, making check-in smooth. The hotel charges a small tourism tax, but the overall price is still affordable. Right outside the lobby, there's a FamilyMart to the left, and to the right, you'll find a popular rice ball shop with long queues daily, as well as a ramen shop nearby. Even at night, you won't have trouble finding food. However, the hotel does not have a designated smoking area, so smokers will need to find restaurants with smoking zones. The price is very reasonable, averaging around 100 SGD per night, making it ideal for budget travelers or couples. Although the rooms are small, they are well-equipped with all the essentials. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Osaka, as it will leave a positive impression of the city. Personally, I would give this hotel a very high rating.
