Kim Wah Bing Teng is located on the bustling streets of Mong Kok. Its exterior is a very classic old-fashioned tea restaurant style. The entrance is often crowded with people and is very lively. The interior space is not spacious, but it is full of Hong Kong flavor - red brick floors, white tile walls, simple tables and chairs, and neon signs, from vision to smell, it is filled with retro style. The seats are mainly small round tables, and sometimes you need to sit at the same table with strangers, but it is this "stage culture" that makes people feel the most authentic Hong Kong human touch.

After-dinner experience: 🍴
Walking into Jinhua Bingtang is like traveling through time and space back to the movie scenes of Hong Kong in the 1980s. There is no gorgeous decoration here, nor is there any Internet beauty-style furnishings, but the street spirit belonging to "old Hong Kong" has deeply attracted me.
The purpose of coming here is very clear - just for the legendary No. 1 pineapple bun in Hong Kong! There was a long queue in front of the store since the morning. Some people came to report before work, and some were travelers dragging their luggage to make a pilgrimage. I waited for about 15 minutes to be seated. The waiter acted quickly. Not long after I ordered the meal, the hot pineapple bun was served.
When I took the first bite, I was really moved to tears. The outer layer of the pineapple skin was slightly burnt and crispy, and the inner bread was soft and elastic. The most amazing thing was the thick piece of ice butter in the middle - as the heat of the bread melted slightly, the overall taste was smooth and fragrant, sweet and salty, and the layers were distinct. Not all pineapple buns are worthy of being described as "dream", but this one in Jinhua is definitely qualified.
In addition to the pineapple bun, I also ordered an egg tart and a cup of Hong Kong-style milk tea. The egg tart is limited to daily production, the crust is crispy but not broken, the egg batter has a tender taste, not too sweet, and the rich milk flavor is perfect. And that cup of milk tea - with a thick tea flavor and rich milk flavor but not greasy, it will not lose its flavor due to the small amount of sugar, nor will it be too sweet, which is the best example of Hong Kong-style milk tea in my mind.
The atmosphere in the store is very interesting. Many locals start ordering as soon as they sit down. They speak loudly and directly, but they don’t make people feel stressed at all. Instead, they feel a down-to-earth sense of life. The waiters wear aprons and speak in a sharp tone. They shout and serve food. The efficiency and rhythm make people feel like they are part of this Hong Kong-style life drama.
Although the space in the store is limited and customers come and go in a hurry, it is such a fast and real dining experience that makes people deeply feel the essence of Hong Kong tea restaurants. This is not a place that emphasizes comfort or refinement, but emphasizes speed, deliciousness and temperature. Sitting in such a place and eating a simple breakfast or afternoon tea will make people fall in love with the daily life and human touch of this city instantly.
In summary, the charm of Jinhua Ice Hall is not how luxurious it is, but in its **"unchanged" original flavor**. In the streets of Hong Kong where trends change rapidly, it is like a beacon, guarding those old tastes and authentic spirits. Whether you are visiting Hong Kong for the first time or returning many times, as long as you have tried their pineapple buns once, I guarantee that you will never forget it and want to come again!
