If you have an early departure or late arrival at Incheon Airport, this is the place to stay! When I used to live in Jamsil, I didn't realize it, but after relocating to a different region, I found it inconvenient to use Incheon Airport. This time, I had an early morning flight to the U.S., and since train or bus schedules were not ideal, I decided to come up the day before and stay overnight at a hotel. Atmosphere/Facilities: The ratio of Korean to foreign guests seemed to be about 80:20. Many guests appeared to be staying for an early departure or a late arrival. I booked a slightly larger room, which had a big bed, a small bed, and even a sofa! The bathtub was great, and the triangular mountain-view terrace was truly delightful. Key Points: 1. Reasonable Price Since it was just a one-night stay, I avoided overly expensive accommodations, partly because I didn't want my parents to comment on the cost! Nest Hotel offered a good balance of price and quality. 2. Satisfying Breakfast Perhaps because it's a popular spot for those arriving or departing, the meals were quite decent, and the seasoning was just right. However, for those accustomed to Seoul-style flavors, it might taste a bit salty. 3. Smoking Area Far Away The smoking area was far from the rooms, photo zones, and lobby, which was inconvenient for smokers but great for non-smokers like me, as I never had to deal with cigarette smells. 4. Swimming Pool Although the hotel has a swimming pool, I didn't use it. Instead, I worked out at the gym to loosen up before my flight. [Incheon International Airport Terminal 1, 4th floor after inspection] The transfer lounge area on the 4th floor of Incheon International Airport's Terminal 1 is frequently renovated, and the new Sky Hub Lounge has opened and is bustling. There are two "Matina Lounges" in this transfer lounge area, and this time I mainly used the "Walkerhill Matina Lounge" near gate 43⭐️ You can see the check-in counter from the open counter seats✨ The bibimbap that you make yourself is a deluxe version that even includes flying fish roe and shiitake mushrooms😋 There are also many types of salads. The lounge is not that large, but like a small convenience store where you can get everything you need, there are foods with points lined up. The shower room and foot massage on the same 4th floor are available to anyone for a fee, so we recommend relaxing there as well♪ As of June 2025, the lounge in the concourse terminal was closed for renovation. [Royal Emporium Incheon Airport Hotel] About 25 minutes by free shuttle bus from Incheon International Airport. This hotel is located in a resort-like area with delicious restaurants scattered around. There is a convenience store in the basement of the hotel and a large cafe restaurant on the first floor, so you can spend your time just in the hotel when you're in a hurry✨ The shuttle bus requires a reservation. You need to make a reservation with the hotel by email or phone the day before, but if you can make the time, the shuttle bus is very convenient🚌 It departs from Terminal 1, No. 14. The hotel name is written on the side of the bus, so it's easy to find. The first bus from the hotel leaves at 6:00. If you're traveling from Incheon Airport to downtown Seoul, I definitely recommend the airport limousine bus! It takes longer than the train, but it's mostly door-to-door, so you can travel in a relaxed manner, you won't get lost, and it's safe for beginners. There are USB ports on the seats, so you can charge your phone. To get on, just buy a ticket from the ticket machine and go to the bus stop printed on the ticket! If you have a suitcase, check it in and get a voucher. You can enjoy traveling to Korea even by yourself✨🤍 1. Sky Top Hotel Incheon This hotel is located in Unseo Station, close to Incheon Airport. The rooms are relatively clean and come with a washing machine and a kitchen. There is no refrigerator, so be careful. The bed is spacious and the TV is large, so you can stay comfortably. 2. Gogo artmake This is a salon for art makeup located in Gangnam Station. Japanese is available. If you come back within 10 months, it will cost you ₩150,000. 3. Esjun Clinic I went to Hongdaewon. They will remove moles for ₩4,000 each. If you buy the regenerative tape in advance, you don't have to buy it at the clinic. Japanese is not available. 4. ID Medical Piercing (아이디메디컬피어싱) A piercing shop in Hongdae. They use anesthetic cream so the pain is minimal. It depends on the area, but I had my tragus and forward helix pierced and it was ₩72,000 including the piercing fee. 5. Bagel Land Hongdae (베이글랜드 홍대점) A Korean bagel shop. You can take out or eat in, you can order drinks and warm them up in the toaster yourself. I was able to enter easily even by myself. 6. HBAF Almond Store I went to the first store in Myeongdong. You can buy flavors that are not yet available in Japan and snacks other than almonds. I think the all-in-one pack that contains all flavors is perfect for giving away as souvenirs. 📍 Incheon Chinatown 🥟 Address: 50-2 Chinatown-ro, Jung-gu, Incheon (Simrihyang) After visiting Wolmido, we headed to Incheon Chinatown. For parking, we used the public parking lot at Jayu Park, which is about a 10-minute walk to Chinatown. The stroll to the entrance of Chinatown is pleasant, and you'll be greeted by murals and the Emperor's Staircase. Incheon Chinatown offers a wide variety of street food, including fire-roasted dumplings, hollow bread, mooncakes, Shandong-style dumplings, and xiaolongbao. The fun lies in choosing what to eat! This time, we visited Simrihyang, a famous fire-roasted dumpling shop in Chinatown. Although there was a long queue in front of the shop, waiting in line allows you to watch the dumplings being roasted in the oven, which builds anticipation. Simrihyang's fire-roasted dumplings are cooked to a golden crisp in a charcoal oven. The exterior is crunchy, while the inside is packed with juicy meat. With one bite, the flavorful juices and savory taste fill your mouth. They also sell a new spicy mala dumpling, which has a subtle mala aroma that makes it even more appealing than the regular meat dumplings. Both the classic fire-roasted dumplings and the mala dumplings are best enjoyed fresh and warm, offering a unique taste and comforting warmth. Eating fire-roasted dumplings and exploring the alleys of Incheon Chinatown is a delightful experience. Simrihyang dumplings are definitely worth the wait and are a must-try street food when visiting Chinatown.

#summervacay If you’re looking for a fun, not-too-crazy hike around Incheon, Gyeyangsan is where it’s at. It’s not super tall or anything, but the views from the top? Totally worth the effort. The trail is pretty friendly, steep in a few spots, sure, but nothing wild, and there are stairs and signs to help you out. You’ll probably run into a bunch of locals doing their daily hike, and the vibe is super relaxed. On the way up, you get little peeks of the city, and once you hit the top, panoramic views of Incheon, the airport, and even Seoul on a clear day. There are a few resting spots where you can chill, snack, and just take it all in. Bring water, maybe a rice ball or two, and you’re set. Oh, and if you time it right, sunset up there is chef’s kiss. It’s the perfect little escape without going full wilderness. Highly recommend for a laid-back adventure.

The bitter and rich chocolate soft serve is absolutely delicious, not overly sweet, making it a perfect treat for adults. Pairing it with churros, which are crispy and go perfectly together, is a must-try 💯 You order through a kiosk, but don't worry—it supports Japanese, so it's easy to navigate ♡ Since it's located at the far end of the airport, it's not crowded at all, making it a true hidden spot! I recently visited Songdo Central Park while looking for a place to enjoy an outdoor date. With the weather in the mid-20s, it was the perfect day for a stroll and a drive, so I decided to check it out! The area is surrounded by many cafes, making it a great place to grab a coffee and take a leisurely walk. Since the weather was so nice today, there were also plenty of people having picnics. 📍Songdo Central Park Address: 160, Convensia-daero, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon There’s a public parking lot available, and the fee is 2,000 KRW for 30 minutes. The boat rental area was beautifully decorated with flowers, making it a picturesque spot. While exploring, I even stumbled upon a deer farm with three deer! I had no idea there were animals in Central Park until now. This place would be great for a picnic with kids as well. I’d love to try the boat ride before the weather gets too hot!

I'm introducing a restaurant at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 that I recommend as a frequent visitor to Incheon Airport. It's Namsan Wang Donkatsu located on the first basement floor of Incheon International Airport Terminal 1. During this vacation, while traveling in Korea, I ate at Namsan Wang Donkatsu on the first basement floor of Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 both when I entered and left the country. When I arrived in Korea, I had more than an hour left before my bus, and when I left Korea, I had more than two hours left before my flight, so I ate at the food court on the first basement floor of Terminal 1. Namsan Wang Donkatsu was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and as the name Wang Donkatsu suggests, the portion was huge, so I was able to eat until I was full. This food court has a variety of options, including not only Donkatsu but also Korean and Chinese food. My group ordered Sundubu Jjigae, which was spicy and delicious. If you are looking for a good restaurant at Incheon Airport, I highly recommend Namsan Wang Donkatsu!
