Last month I went to Guangxi with my friends. When it comes to Guangxi, everyone knows that 'Guilin's landscape is the best under heaven'. In fact, around Guilin, there is another beautiful terraced field scenic area - Longji Terraced Fields, known as the 'crown of the world's terraced fields'. Blue sky and white clouds☁, layers of terraces🌾, like a huge ink painting in front of my eyes, exactly the same as what I saw in the TV commercials, casually shooting is a big scene effect, I really regret why I only come now! The terraces have different beauty in each season, the best check-in season is from May to October: 🌾May-June: Watering period, watch 'mirror terraces' 🌾July-September: Growing period, watch 'matcha green terraces' 🌾End of September-October: Autumn harvest period, watch 'golden terraces' ⛰️About the scenic spot: Longji Terraced Fields is a large-scale terraced field group. Ping'an Terraced Fields and Jinkeng Terraced Fields are the main viewing areas. Ping'an was developed earlier and has more tourists. Jinkeng was developed later but is larger and has more viewing points. Therefore, we chose to stay in Jinkeng Terraced Fields this time for convenience. 🏠About accommodation: There are many homestays in the Longji scenic area. We chose the Muye Chenxi Homestay, which is very close to the viewing platform. It takes 5-20 minutes to walk🚶🏻 to the viewing platform 1-2. The important thing is that I really like the design style of this homestay! The overall design comes from the hands of British huang family architects. Whether it's design aesthetics or living experience, it didn't disappoint us. The room is very warm and tidy, and the terraced scenery is just outside the window, which is simply the life I long for~ The homestay also has a 180-degree viewing platform, which is very open and full of green plants🌿🌿. Sitting on the platform and looking into the distance, you can see the scenery of Longji Terraced Fields. The afternoon tea is also very good, the coffee☕ and desserts🍰 are all professional. There are limited desserts in different seasons. I strongly recommend Double Chocolate Parlinne, Passion Fruit Basque, and Rum Cherry Chocolate. With a cup of coffee, sitting on the viewing terrace, blowing the mountain breeze, looking at the terraced scenery in the distance, it's so cool! 🥢About food: There are no special restaurants in the scenic area. We all eat in the homestay, dining on the viewing platform, which is quite comfortable. I didn't expect the food in the homestay to be delicious, very authentic mountain food: spicy chicken, bamboo rice, spring water fish, rice fragrant fish are all must-order. The ingredients are very fresh, and I, a person who doesn't usually like to eat fish, can't stop praising it~ 🚘About transportation: 🚗The most convenient is of course self-driving. The homestay sends the location of 'Tiantouzhai Parking Lot' in advance, and the car can directly reach the door of the shop. The last section of the road is quite steep and narrow. The homestay very thoughtfully arranged for a driver to take us up. 🚌Guilin North Station/Guilin Station/Yangshuo-Longji Terraced Fields Jinkeng Dazhai Parking Lot (you can take a direct bus) The homestay is responsible for the transfer from Dazhai Parking Lot to the shop. 🎫About tickets: Adult ticket: 80 yuan Child ticket: 40 yuan

I really admire myself for being so capable. I found a B&B that is perfect in every aspect. I always want to go on a spontaneous trip I was immediately attracted when I saw this one Contact the store on the same day to inquire about pick-up and travel strategies Take a taxi to Dazhai parking lot and the driver will pick you up at the door of the homestay. Very considerate Stayed for two nights and felt like my body was breathing in sync with nature B&B with a wide view. You can see the distant wilderness from the window. Living by the mountains, I escaped from life instantly and got a moment of peace. The food at the B&B is also great Fresh local ingredients and rustic cooking techniques Greatly retains the freshness of the ingredients Most recommended Spicy chicken, bamboo tube rice, hot and sour spring water fish. I can enjoy special delicacies without leaving the B&B. I love it! The location of the B&B is also great. It takes 10-20 minutes to walk to the 1-2 viewing platform. It is really pleasant to take a walk among the fields in your spare time~

Transportation🚗 Getting to this fairyland is not complicated. If you choose to fly, Guilin Liangjiang International Airport is the fastest way. After getting off the plane, you can take the airport bus or a taxi directly to Guilin city center, and then transfer to a bus that goes directly to Longji Rice Terraces. Guilin, having been here three times, my first impression is that transportation is really inconvenient. To be honest, the infrastructure is quite average, and the transportation means are relatively outdated. The city area is slightly better, but traveling to other attractions like Yangshuo is truly a pain. Each spot is super scattered, so if you can, I suggest driving yourself instead of lugging your suitcase to catch public transport. Although some aspects of Guilin have seriously hit my pet peeves, overall, I still quite like it; otherwise, I wouldn't have visited three times. Coming to Guilin is really about getting in touch with nature, and the natural scenery here is indeed very nice. Even on rainy days, it feels comfortable, like being in a misty ink painting. Moreover, Guilin's cuisine really suits my carb-loving palate—Guilin rice noodles, snail noodles, sticky rice, bamboo tube rice, Longji rice wine, cured meat, beer fish, oil tea... I love them all! Here are a few tips for friends who are planning to visit Guilin soon: 1. Guilin rice noodles don't require queuing at popular stores; any random alleyway eatery is delicious. I've never been disappointed in my several visits. 2. Just stroll and eat on Yangshuo's West Street, but don't buy souvenirs—they're so expensive they'll make you question life... The bars here are also very average; if you can avoid them, do so. There's really nothing exciting to encounter. 3. Taking a bamboo raft on both the Li River and Yulong River is fine; both are suitable for viewing scenery and taking beautiful photos. Although Yulong River offers bamboo rafting experiences, if you really want thrilling excitement, go for rafting on Longjing River instead. It's exhilarating and fun—I highly recommend it. 4. Don't take the bus to Longji Rice Terraces; it's a waste of time and exhausting. If you want to visit Longji Rice Terraces, consider renting a car or finding a direct bus. Don't foolishly take public transport and transfer! 5. If you're going to Longji Rice Terraces now, you can visit Ping'an Village. The water-filling has started, and you can see the 'glass' rice fields, but if you want to see lush green fields, you'll have to wait a bit longer. 6. There aren't many accommodation options around Longji Rice Terraces, so make sure to choose one that's convenient for both travel and dining. I stayed at the Mo Ye Chen Xi Homestay in Jinkeng, which is not far from each viewing platform and is especially convenient. What I'm most satisfied with this homestay is its unbeatable viewing platform with an amazing view. They also serve their own local specialty dishes, which are very tasty and well-made.

There are two scenic areas in the Longji Rice Terraces I visited the Jinkeng Red Yao terraces～ If, like me, you don't want to hike And want to fully enjoy and experience the scenery here🌾 Then just stay quietly in a homestay～ We stayed at the Mo Ye Chen Xi Homestay❤️ Located near the core viewing platform of Jinkeng Dazhai terraces Close to the mountain top, between viewing platforms one and two All within walking distance, about 5-20 minutes The West Hill Shao music of viewing platform one, just turn left when you go out! You can enjoy the magnificent view of the terraces from the first-floor terrace Watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening🌄 This was my favorite moment of the trip～ So relaxing and comfortable😌 The homestay is decorated in a Japanese log style Brew a pot of tea and sit by the window to enjoy the lush greenery⛰️ The road up the mountain is rugged, but it's all worth it! The food at the homestay also healed me🍜 With local specialties and fresh ingredients Paired with Uncle Liu's cooking skills👍 Every meal is a delight on the taste buds😋 We had both lunch and dinner here Although they are home-cooked dishes, they all taste very good For breakfast, you can choose between rice noodles and a rice porridge set～ If you have enough time, I suggest staying for two more nights! 🔍Longsheng Longji Rice Terraces 🚗If you have a car, you can drive directly to the foot of the mountain and then walk up 🚌Departing from Guilin, you can take a bus from Qintan Bus Station to get there (about 2 hours 60💰) There are plenty of buses but be sure to check the time, the last one is at 15:30
