There's such a pretty natural park near Seoul!! It's famous for its autumn reeds, but the lush green view is also so pretty! 💚🌿 There's also an observatory + mudflats and a salt farm experience center, so it's a great place to see other than the sunflower spot! There are a lot of shade shelters behind the salt warehouse, so take a break! It is a grade 1 ecological environment area in Siheung City due to its ecological excellence, and many people rest on mats and take walks in this ecological park. Also, the seawater experience center in Gaetgol Ecological Park opened on July 8th, so you can enjoy playing in the water! It will be open until August 27th. 🎈There is a paid parking lot, and the first hour is 1,000 won and 1,000 won is added per hour, and 8,000 won for 4 hours or more. 2 hours free for Siheung citizens (30% discount thereafter)

This is Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park that I visited last week😀 You can get there in less than an hour from Seoul, so I really, really recommend it as a fall travel destination near Seoul🤎 Eulalia, reeds, kudzu, and even pink muhly! It's because the representative plants of fall filled the wide park☺️ Thanks to that, I was able to fully enjoy the fall weather🙃 The day I went was a weekday, and it took about 2 hours to look around ㅎㅎ There are also good places for picnicking, so it would be nice to bring some food and eat it, and I especially recommend going at sunset😊 If you go up to the swinging observatory, you can see the whole park at a glance, and the reed forest dyed in the sunset was really beautiful🌾 They say you can also rent strollers for infants and wheelchairs for those with disabilities, so this was a review of Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park, recommended as a fall travel destination for families and couples.
