Castillo Santa Magdalena de Pulpis is one of those hidden gems that make you feel like a true adventurer. The moment you walk through the gates, it’s cobblestone everything, stone houses with wooden balconies, and that cozy village vibe you didn’t know you needed. The streets are narrow and winding, perfect for slow exploring. One minute you’re popping into a cute little shop with handmade crafts, and the next you’re snacking on local cheese and cured meats (which are chef’s kiss, by the way). Oh, and don’t even get me started on the bakeries. Heaven. There’s history around every corner, but it doesn’t feel stuffy, it feels lived in, like time just moves slower here. You can see it from miles away, and it only gets cooler the closer you get. The walk up is a bit of a trek, lots of stone steps and winding paths, but the views? Totally worth the leg burn. You get panoramic shots of the countryside, rooftops, and endless sky. Inside the castle, it’s all crumbling towers, ancient walls, and that "whoa, this is really old" feeling. Think rugged cliffs, quiet trails, wildflowers, and surprise beaches that pop out of nowhere. It’s lowkey but absolutely stunning. I went in with zero expectations and left obsessed. The views of the Mediterranean are unreal, you’re walking along dusty paths with the sea sparkling beside you, and sometimes you don’t see another soul for ages. Pure chill. If you’re into hiking, biking, or just vibing in nature, this place totally delivers. And the hidden coves? Total gems. Bring your swimsuit, because you’ll 100% want to dive in after a few hours under the sun. Also, pack water, there’s not much around except nature (which is kind of the whole point). It’s peaceful, raw, and not overly touristy, which makes it even better. Sierra de Irta is that under-the-radar slice of Spain that’s all about the slow, scenic life.

I suggest you take different photos of the church from different angles. It has a bell tower, considered one of the most important in Lower Plana, completed in 1791, made of ashlar, the tower begins with the first body, square in plan, approximately in the middle, some apses make the transition to an octagonal plan, characteristic of the second body, which also has pilasters and cornices. The place is very well preserved and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the city and the area. The history of the castle is fascinating and this visit provides an excellent opportunity to learn about Segorbe's medieval history. The best part is that Segob Castle is free to enter and is open from 10:00 to 22:00, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. I recommend it to anyone who loves history and architecture! There is a very nice view from the castle entrance and you can sit on the benches and enjoy the view. It is recommended to download the Segorbe tourist app to see a guide to the castle and town. Its medieval layout hides some architectural gems, such as the cathedral and the remains of ancient city walls. The remains of a medieval castle on the nearby hill of La Estrella recall Segorbe’s palatial origins. Named after the abundant springs found in the area, Plaza Agua Limpia is the town's nerve centre. There is the Town Hall, built in the 16th century and formerly the palace of the Dukes of Medinaceli. The Cathedral of Santa Maria was built in Gothic style and was later rebuilt in Neoclassical style. Its interior contains seven chapels and a beautiful cloister, a valuable manuscript preserved in the archives, and a series of paintings in the chapel. Several churches stand out in the medieval layout of the city: the Church of San Pedro, the Church of San Martín, the Church of San Joaquín and the Church of Santa Ana. Due to its past defense, the village still preserves the round tower of Bottessi and the tower of the prison, which were once part of the ancient walls, together with the Veronica Arch. Finally, we can end our tour of the city by visiting the Cathedral Museum, the Archaeological Museum and the Ethnological Museum. The old church was built in the 13th century but was destroyed by a fire. The church was rebuilt in Gothic style in the 15th century, but was almost destroyed again by war in 1936, so its most recent renovation was in 1939. This octagonal building was built in the 16th century. It is also known locally as "El Fadri". There are many valuable precious metal artworks. The north gate retains its original Gothic design, while the other two gates partially retain their original Gothic design. #celebrateit Not sure if it’s my luck or all year long, Barceloneta Beach was in my dreamy blue hues during my visit in the evening. And the creative architecture along the beach makes it quite a wonderful walk along the coastline. And around half an hour away is the hill Parc del Mirador, which is not too steep to hike but steep enough to give an excellent viewpoint of the whole city. But the hill faces the city in the northeast, so it’s recommendable to visit it in the blue hours of sunrise for the best view. Barcelona (and Spain in general) has graffiti all over the place. It packs a good deal of constant surprise when walking around the city, whichever route you happen to take.

Concatedral de Santa Maria is a cathedral in Castellón, Valencia, Spain!
