Lily’s Traditional Fish & Chips is tucked away on a street near Central Pier. It had great reviews so we ordered takeaways (you can eat in too) and sat on the steps by the beach enjoying the sunset. The fish was cooked perfectly, portion sites generous enough for an adult and child to share and the seagulls watchful but patient. The free lollipop was a big hit too.

amazing place to view the sunset from on a quite summers evening it is great when the tide it out because it allows you to explore more and have a adventure and also give you a good opportunities to catch some great photos of the surrounding attractions such as the Blackpool tower and central pier if you come around the end of September you may even have a good chance of seeing the Blackpool lights

Beautiful weather in Blackpool for the last two weeks, the beach is surprisingly clean with frequent litter patrols, clean water with lots of people paddling and swimming and having fun, a lot better than it was when I was a child. The best fish and chips come from Salt and Vinegar chippy on the promenade.
