Let me jump in here—I must talk about Venice first. Originally, Venice wasn’t part of my travel plan. My spontaneous personality led me to add a bunch of unexpected and chaotic plans, making my entire trip to Italy feel rather random. But Venice, above all, touched me the most. I didn’t have high expectations initially. In fact, just a week before my trip, I saw a friend’s post saying Venice doesn’t require a long stay as it might get boring. However, after personally visiting Venice, I must say—it’s a place you absolutely have to visit. Although traveling from Mestre by train and then taking countless boat rides was exhausting, and navigating the maze-like streets of each island in Venice was challenging, I relied on my own footsteps, Google Maps, and the Citymapper app (a must-download for Venice) to find my way back. Otherwise, I’d end up at random docks where I couldn’t board a boat 🤡. But when I set foot on the colorful island of Burano, I stood in front of the buildings, overwhelmed with emotion. We took a one-day trip to Burano during our stay in Venice. Burano is well known for its lace sewing, colourful houses, great for photo taking. The island is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. It was so relaxing to walk around. Most houses were decorated nicely by the owners with flowers, plants, and colourful painting. We also had delicious seafood at the pier. The deep-fried squid and beer were awesome. This island is easily accessible from Treporti, about 10 minutes. Ambiance/Facilities: 10/10 Rating: 5/5

I mean really2 lost & it was so much fun!! But sooner or later you will know your way plus it's an island ... no matter how lost you are it's not like you can get off of it. Don't eat at table outside a restaurant ... Eat inside or take away ... It's cheaper ... Don't eat at places with 20 different languages on the menu or didn't show a price at all ... Located in this city are plenty of older foundations still steeped in culture from the not so distant past.
