It doesn't belong to luxury resorts but it isn't cheap as well, more so on the mid scale prices of resorts in Lapu Lapu. The landscapes, the ambiance and the overall atmosphere of the resort is just nice. You can truly relax and chill here while you are in cebu. Their staff are also friendly and accommodating. The Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort next to Cebu Airport is very luxurious and enjoyable. In the evening, you can have a drink at the bar next to the private beach and occasionally step into the water. For those who don’t like sea water, there are also very beautiful and comfortable swimming pools in the park for soaking.

One of my fave go to place. Personally i know some of the staff personnel here. They are one of the friendliest and accommodating resort in Mactan. Just a short preview about this resort. Bluewaters Maribago is one of the pioneering resorts in Lapu Lapu ,located at Buyong Maribago. A 7 hectare beach resort, a filipino owned chain. One thing i love about this resort is their “food” specially breakfast time, i so love their hot chocolate known as “sikwate” in cebuano, paired with sticky rice. Highly recommendable resort.

A well spent weekend with co team members. Bluewater Maribago Beach Resorts has an ample and spacious lobby upon arrival. Their information staff are all willing to help to provide assistance. Their rooms are big and have aesthetic local Filipino designs. The rooms are also packed with complete amenities, from AC, hot & cold shower, a relaxing bath tub and many more! Allegro restaurant serves palatable dishes and have a lot of choices to choose from. A buffet dinner by the beach was an amazing experience too! I stayed 3 nights at the very pretty Bluewater Maribago Resort. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was good, and most of all, the pool was very pretty and nice both during the day and at night. It was holiday and no plans yet. It was an impulsive decision to book a room over a weekend at Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort and i think the decision is worth it! So love the Amuma Spa Suite room, it is very spacious with a very Filipino touch of interior design and what is more important, its clean and sanitized! Plus, a relaxing view at the poolside. The location itself gives us a relaxing resort vibes! Pro Tip: Don’t forget your bathtub pose!🥰 The food was great! Though, there were a lot of people coming in but the restaurant was well-managed. Blue Water Hotel is a resort hotel located 20 minutes by car from Mactan Cebu International Airport. There are three pools on the private beach, so you can spend the whole day at the hotel! There is also a restaurant in the hotel that is open 24 hours a day! It was my friend's birthday, so when I told them, the restaurant staff gave us a big celebration. Despite the short notice, they were very kind and I was very satisfied. They drove us to our room! When moving from the hotel, I recommend calling a taxi from the hotel! There are many people right outside the hotel trying to sell you tours, and they will tell you that other places are expensive but ours is cheap, so be careful. First of all, the grounds are spacious and full of greenery! It feels like you are in a big garden, and you can relax in nature. The beach also has a private feel, so you can play in the sea in the morning and relax in the pool in the afternoon. There are three pools, each with a different atmosphere, so you never get bored. The food was also great! There are many restaurants, such as Italian, seafood, and Asian cuisine, so I enjoyed every meal. The fresh seafood I ate at "The Cove" was especially delicious. The drinks by the pool were also great, and I enjoyed the resort atmosphere. In addition, I recommend the Hilot massage at Amuma Spa. It is a traditional massage using coconut oil and banana peel, and it healed both the mind and body. It is perfect for couples and friends. #Special hotel stay event My trip to Cebu during my summer vacation! One day, I spent a whole day at the Bluewater Maribago Hotel swimming, eating, and watching the ocean. Since there were a lot of Korean tourists, there were a lot of restaurants and shops around the area that were friendly to Koreans, so I remember enjoying walking around the hotel after eating. Thinking back now, it was a very fulfilling and enjoyable trip, especially swimming and taking pictures with whale sharks in the morning, canyoning in the afternoon, and finally getting a massage to heal. Haha I haven't tried the island hopping tour, but according to people around me, they highly recommend the island hopping tour, so if you like active activities, I recommend the Cebu trip!
